The 2018 IPDCtalks in Southern Africa (IPDCtalksSA) event took place in Windhoek Namibia on the 28th of September to commemorate the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) under the theme, ‘Operationalizing Access to Information – Enhancing Access to Opportunities for Women and Girls’. Access to information in all forms- online and offline – for women and girls is a fundamental human right and catalyst for their empowerment to be equal contributors to societal issues.
