This Illustration depicts the experiences as well as the challenges that many  guardians are facing glabally during this pandemic crisis. The Facial Expression of this African woman convey the pain she feels.Perhaps she is in grief after losing a loved one in death from Covid 19.

Perhaps she is experiencing mistreatment, gender-based violence and exploitation under the circumstances of the quarantine.
She could also be struggling with lockdown restrictions that prevent her from earning a living. As a single mother she may not be able to support her family during the pandemic, even failing to put food on the table.

All of these circumstances are affecting parents /guardians globally although very common in Africa. This Covid 19 pandemic has left many families with no hope but depression and a great emotional impact on parents in the Society.
