The theme of “Mask” is about how this covid-19 pandemic is a reminder of the fragility of life.
The composition of the cherry blossoms around the woman’s face is a representation of a face mask. I chose to use cherry blossoms because of their beauty yet fragile nature. I realized how the life of a cherry blossom is like our own lives ,particularly during this pandemic.
The yellow and purple colour scheme is to create a peaceful and meditative mood to remind us to not take life for granted.
