This piece depicts how the pandemic has taken the world by storm. The traditional shakers represent how the corona virus pandemic has shook the world while the chains represent the virus, restricting contact of people and confining them to their homes or quarantined wards.
The hands are blue, lacking in oxygen, a symptom seen among corona virus patients as life is slowly drained out of many of them. Lastly the interlocking handles of the shakers show how the world is making an effort to unite during this difficult time in order to fight the virus.
