“Beyond” is about how arts resilient nature and elasticity serves as an inspiration and encouragement to stay strong during difficult times in life.
The circle and connecting line as well as the man’s forward bend posture is a symbol of arts harmonious way of remaining strong.
My colour choice of yellow and blue-purples is to give a sunset mood. This is a representation of how light ( life as we know it) is fading and darkness (Covid-19 pandemic) is arising.
The man’s posture and sunset mood is a metaphor of arts resilience and the covid-19 pandemic respectively. The relationship between the two is to tell a story that even in difficult times , art remains resilient.
