Resilience.
The delicate yet indestructible HANDS,
Of my mother and all the women before me.
Who fought emotional and physical raging winds,
Paving the way for me, for the woman I am becoming..
On these fertile hands, grow the potent DANDELIONS.
A flower ever so graceful, representing the healing steps of every woman becoming,
Stemmed from all the emotional intelligence that has been sharpened by life’s intricacies.
Ah the Dandelion.
How it can persevere through difficult living situations.
A flower so small and humbling,
Yet, it courageously faces any and every a peril.

Today I rest, I tend to the wounds.
But tomorrow, another day I see.
I rise with courage, wisdom and Pride.
As the LION does..
Even in my dreams I see the majestic wildcat,
A reminder that my ancestors are watching over me.
It’s eyes strong yet,soulful.
the need to stop overstretching oneself but, try to balance matters and remain strong.
