Although the Namibian society was affected greatly by COVID-19, the matters could have been a lot worse. Thanks to many Namibian officials and the citizens of the country, represented by Hage Geingob, the virus was well contained.
The fast decisions to introduce social distancing and the use of proper sanitary rules have prevented the excessive spread that is experienced in most other countries on earth. This is an achievement that Namibia should be proud of.
