Schools Enterprise Challenge: Teach a Man to Fish

Sure you’ve heard the adage “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” Well, there’s a whole UK based charity named from it & they are running an international business program for schools.

Teach A Man To Fish runs the annual School Enterprise Challenge as a flagship programme meant to guide and support academics to plan, set up, and run their own school business through access to free educational materials including business guides, educational videos & submission templates.

Student entrepreneurs together with their teachers not only get certificates as recognition of their achievement but also stand a chance of winning $50,000 worth of prizes.

Another reason to join the School Enterprise Challenge? Well, it’s absolutely free to register, open to all schools from all countries and offers support all the way through email, WhatsApp and phone for teachers responsible for guiding students in coming up with a business idea, write a business plan as well as launching the school business, making sales and writing an annual report.

To register or find out more information about the School Enterprise Challenge, visit their website here.
