2018 IPDCtalksSA – Mbalenhle Shandu

The video is in response to the IPDCtalksSA competition, in response to topic – “What role should national authorities play to protect and promote the right to access information, through media and ITC”. The video elaborates talks about how the media is currently handled and the benefits to society by airing these videos. Also I highlighted the impact that social media and social networks have in society and the response received from these platforms from the national authorities. The video talks about the trends of racial exploitations, violence and abuse as well as sexually explicit acts.
